To be fair, I've only been to this store late in the evening, two separate times, between 10:00 pm & midnight. This review is only meant to alert any other potential late-night shoppers to the difficulties I experienced here. The store itself is large, nicely laid out, and has above average produce, bakery, and floral departments. There is an in-store Starbucks, and the pharmacy looks very nice. The problem I ran into, however, was their approach to re-stocking. I totally understand that they have to re-stock at some point each day, but both times I've gone, every single aisle has been a complete disaster. Boxes are EVERYWHERE, and about half of the aisles are completely blocked off at one of the ends. It also seemed to me that they didn't have enough people on staff to help with all the re-stocking, because most aisles had no one working on unloading the many boxes, leaving the better half of the store inaccessible. Very frustrating! I wouldn't normally write a review about such a thing, but thought it might be helpful to anyone who, for whatever reason, has to do their grocery shopping later in the evening, since it did happen on two different occasions. Even though this store is technically open 24 hours, I'd definitely recommend going elsewhere.

This is perhaps one of the worst King Soopers in all of Colorado. The people that frequent this establishment will run you over with their shopping cards and seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of normal driving rules as soon as they enter the parking lot. The store itself is fine, but the people that frequent this place are enough of a turn off. Furthermore this is the last stop on the ski-hill trail for the tour buses in the winter...just don't bother.

I used to take special trips to this Kings when I lived in the Highlands area because it was so much nicer than what that area of town had to offer as far as grocery stores go. Now that I live closer to this Kings, I would rather go to the Whole Foods and Target (for non-produce items) at Denver West than visit this King Soopers. Sure, I mean it is the closest place to purchase groceries for me, but it is really not a well managed store. Heck, the King Soopers in Golden is even better than this newly remodeled store. Problems include: - they are always out of things because of the large ski bus groups that stop here - the dairy department is small and are always out of organic milk - the put the "natural" foods in their own separate sections instead of just next to conventional items - the produce department is TERRIBLE!! The kale is always limp and brown, the avocados are always rotten, the organic produce department is now slightly larger than it used to be before the remodel but it still sucks. On my most recent visit, I almost purchased a moldy acorn squash before realizing it and putting it back. It's seriously so bad and gross. I have contacted their costumer service department about it several times and they always tell me "we are working on our produce department"...so other people have obviously complained then too! So how about you get a new produce manager then! I'm looking forward to the new Spouts store opening on 38th and Kipling, then at least I can hopefully have a good produce alternative in the area, and give this Kings a run for it's money.

Huge chain grocery store here that can accommodate most of your specialty goods that would be found typically at other stores at a higher price. Usually well stocked, clean, & organized which can be uncommon for a store that is 24hrs a day. My only peeve with this store is parking! Good luck not getting in a fistfight in the parking lot trying to park.

The King Soopers is the way to go when you're coming from the airport and headed to the slopes. Make a late night stop (yes, they're open) to get all the ski trip necessities!

75000 square feet of Kroger goodness. Huge store. Way beyond my ability to navigate without a compass and a guide dog.

King Soopers has the best prices in town! Love that they buy Colorado Grown produce!

I love this King Soopers. The employees are fast and friendly. They also work hard to make sure you don't wait in line to check out for very long. The store is clean and they have a good variety of items. They also have a ton of car-carts, although I'm not sure if they have the video carts here yet.

Went to this King Soopers specifically for the cheese section, based on other Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed. Very deep and creative cheese shop, including a good selection of washed-rind cheeses. The bakery looked very good, too, though I didn't peruse it heavily. Otherwise, it's a typical King Soopers, but if you like cheese, it's worth the trip!

I like how this one is laid out. It is easy to navigate and they typically have several lanes open so you don't have to wait too long. Love the cheese & olive bar that they have. Love the abundance of produce organic and non Love the bakery & deli The only thing not to love about this one is the parking lot. As another reviewer said parking can be a bit of a cluster. I will totally agree with that. Best time to come IMO is usually after about 7. If you know what you are looking for you can usually get in and out quickly. Plus the senior factor is down by then as well.

Why can't King Soopers stock more than a few 6-packs of Evian Water? There is only enough shelf space for 3 six packs, fortunately the checker asked me if I had found everything, and charged me the six pack price for the individual bottles when I complained about the lack of stock of 6-packs.

I don't usually write reviews about grocery stores, but we just moved to the area and I'm really impressed with this King Soopers. They are so friendly, the store is clean, they have nice produce, Boar's Head meat and a bulk section. The butcher even cut up my whole chicken for me today and wasn't even grumpy about it. The woman at the deli counter made sure she sliced the cheese just the way I wanted it and gave me a sample. Very happy with this King Soopers!
